With his 318 career victories, Phil is the winningest knuckleball pitcher of all time, and his 121 victories after the age of 40 is a Major League record. Phil is a member of both the 300 win club and the 3,000 strikeout club, and after pitching 20 seasons for The Milwaukee and Atlanta Braves (1964-1983), he also pitched for The New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians and Toronto Blue Jays before returning to Atlanta to end his career in 1987. A 5x All-Star and 5x Gold Glove winner, Phil Niekro was elected into The Baseball Hall of Fame in 1997. Joe Niekro pitched from 1967-1988 with The Chicago Cubs, San Diego Padres, Detriot Tigers, Atlanta Braves, Houston Astros, New York Yankees and Minnesota Twins. His 21 wins and 5 shutouts in 1979 earned The All-Star the TSN Pitcher of the Year Award.
