Fergie Jenkins had a Hall of Fame career, with his best years coming with the Chicago Cubs from 1966-1973, and then 1982-1983. Fergie also spent time with the Philadelphia Phillies, Texas Rangers and Boston Red Sox. In 1971, he won 24 games, had a 2.77 ERA and 263 strikeouts to win the Cy Young Award and NLTSN Pitcher of the Year. Fergie won 20+ games 7 times during his career, including a career high of 25 in 1974 with the Texas Rangers. He is only 1 of 4 pitchers in ML history to have 3,000 strikeouts with fewer than 1,000 walks. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1991, having won 284 games with 3,192 strikeouts.
